The trial
Every new account gets a 14-day trial with everything included. We don't ask for a card, and nothing is charged when it ends. You can subscribe at any point during the trial.
Plans and billing
Plans are billed yearly. The monthly figure on the pricing page is for comparison only; there's no monthly plan today.
Prices are in US dollars. If your billing address is in Canada you pay in Canadian dollars instead. Your currency is set when you subscribe and stays the same for that subscription; changing your address later doesn't change it.
Paying
You can pay by card or with a PayPal account. Payments are processed by PayPal: when you add a card, the number goes straight to PayPal and never reaches our servers. We keep only what we need to show and manage it, such as the card brand, the last four digits and the expiry date.
Your plan renews automatically once a year, charged to your default payment method. We email you 14 days and 3 days before each renewal, so there are no surprises.
You manage payment methods on the Billing page: add a card or a PayPal account, choose the default, or remove one. You can't remove your only payment method while your plan is set to renew; cancel first, and it won't renew.
Seats and family members
Business is priced per seat with a 3-seat minimum. Family includes six people, and extra members can be added up to the plan's limit.
- Adding a seat or member is charged right away, for the rest of your billing year.
- Removing one takes effect at your next renewal. You keep what you've paid for until then.
Changing plans
Moving up to a bigger plan takes effect immediately, and you pay only the difference for the rest of your billing year. Moving down takes effect at your next renewal. Before you confirm, the Billing page shows the exact amount and anything over the new plan's limits.
If a payment fails
We send you one email, and you keep full access for 14 days while you update your payment method. If the payment still can't be collected after that, your account becomes read-only until you resume.
When a plan ends
If a trial ends without a subscription, a payment can't be collected, or you cancel, your account becomes read-only. You can still unlock, open and export everything, including your notes and calendars, but you can't add new things. Subscribing or resuming restores full access. We don't delete your data because a plan ended; the terms have the details.
Cancelling
Cancel from the Billing page at any time. Your plan keeps working until the end of the year you've paid for, and nothing more is charged.
Invoices
Every charge has an invoice on the Billing page, with a PDF you can download. Your name, address and tax number (if you have one) go in Billing details.
In the mobile apps
Subscriptions are managed on the web. In the Atrium app, open Settings and then Billing to see your plan; where it's available, the app can open Billing in your browser for you.
