A registry is a list of items for a birthday, wedding, baby shower or any other occasion, that guests can claim so nobody duplicates a gift.
Adding items
Paste a link from any store and the title, image and price fill in automatically; everything is editable, and you can add an item by hand with no link at all. Mark items as most wanted and sort them by priority.
Cash funds and group gifts
For a honeymoon, a first home, or anything else better given as cash, add a fund with your own payment link — an Interac e-Transfer address, a PayPal.me link, or any secure link you choose. Atrium never touches the money: gifters report what they sent, and the fund shows a running total of those pledges.
Claims
A gifter reserves an item with their name and email (confirmed by a verification email), then marks it purchased or releases it from their own manage link. An unclaimed reservation expires after 14 days, with a reminder first.
Surprise mode
Turned on by default for weddings and showers: your own dashboard hides who claimed what (or even whether an item is claimed) until you deliberately reveal it, or the event date arrives. The public page still shows availability to guests, so nobody doubles up.
Thank-you tracking
After reveal, see who gave what, mark a gift received, and track whether a thank-you has been sent.
What we can see
Item details, prices and claims are server-readable, so the public page can show what's available. Your private notes and thank-you drafts are end-to-end encrypted. Details: What we can and cannot see.
