The password generator creates strong random passwords when you add or edit a login. It's available in the web app, and will be in the browser extension when that ships.
Using it
Open the generator from a login's password field, choose a length and which kinds of characters to include, and use the result. Longer is better: 20 or more characters is a good default for sites that allow it.
Privacy
Passwords are generated on your device. A generated password isn't sent anywhere until you save the login, and then it is encrypted like everything else.
Two-step codes
Atrium can protect your Atrium account with an authenticator app or a passkey (see Passkeys and two-step sign-in). A login item can also hold that site's authenticator key and show you its live one-time code — see Authenticator codes in the vault.
