Signing up creates your account and starts a 14-day free trial in one step. We don't ask for a card, and nothing is charged when the trial ends.
What you need
Just an email address. Atrium doesn't use an account password for signing in: enter your email and we send you a six-digit code. Enter the code and you're in. You can add a second step later, such as an authenticator app or a passkey (see Passkeys and two-step sign-in).
Signing in and unlocking are different
- Signing in proves to our server who you are.
- Unlocking happens on your device. Your data stays encrypted until you enter your master password, which you create the first time you open Atrium and which never leaves your device.
That split is what lets us store your data without being able to read it. See Your master password.
