The vault holds four kinds of item: logins, bookmarks, secure notes and files. Everything about an item, including its name and fields, is encrypted on your device under its own key before it's uploaded.
Logins
A username, password, website address and notes. The browser extension (coming soon) will fill logins in on matching sites, and the password generator creates strong passwords for new ones.
Secure notes
Short private text that isn't a login: licence keys, backup codes, a Wi-Fi password. For longer writing with links and folders, use Notes.
Files
Upload documents such as a passport scan or insurance policy. The file and its name are encrypted before a byte leaves your browser. The largest single file and your total storage depend on your plan.
Finding things
- Folders and favourites keep things organised.
- Search runs on your device, over data decrypted in your session. Our server can't search what it can't read.
- Trash keeps deleted items until you empty it, so you can restore mistakes.
